You’re invited to apply for Behavioral Health Workforce Development support funding!
The BHWD project currently offers the following request for application (RFA) opportunity: the Behavioral Health Recruitment and Retention (BHRR) Project.
BHRR funding will be used to plan and implement recruitment and retention strategies to create a sustainable and diverse workforce. The BHRR project will support the development of personnel frameworks; onboarding, engaging, and retaining behavioral health (BH) staff; and creating inclusive workplaces.
BHRR is open to nonprofit 501(c)(3) BH provider organizations, tribal organizations, and county-operated providers that provide BH services to increase recruitment and retention efforts of California’s BH workforce.
Priority will be given to organizations working in under-resourced, marginalized, and diverse communities and those providing substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery services inclusive of alcohol and other drugs.
The BHRR grant project is part of the BHWD efforts of the California Department of Health Care Services. This Request For Application contains information about the BHRR project, including background, legal, fiscal, and project requirements for applicants. Eligibility criteria and instructions are also included. Apply today!
Applications are due on May 24, 2023, at 5 p.m. PDT.
